Generation Texas Week
November 14-18, CISD will be celebrating Generation Texas Week. This is a time we emphasize the wonderful possibilities for a child’s future. We encourage all students to think about college as the next step after high school graduation. To celebrate this week we invite you to participate with us:
Monday – Careers “Dress for Success” – Students dress up as their favorite career and teachers dress up as “If I hadn’t been a teacher, I would have been”
Tuesday – Back to Your Future Day – Wear your favorite college shirts, hats, socks, etc.
Wednesday – Transitions Day – so what’s after Kaufman? Wear a feeder zone shirt: Vogel, Irons, or Oak Ridge.
Thursday – Hats Off To A Successful Future! Wear hats to school.
Friday – No Dress Up.
Food Drive for the Montgomery County Food Bank
This week is also our annual food drive for the Montgomery County Food Bank to help feed families within Montgomery County. Students may bring items to place in the grade level bins that will located in the cafeteria all week. We appreciate your support for this wonderful organization!
