Back To School Breakfast

We have extended the deadline to return the RSVP forms for our “Back to School Breakfast” until tomorrow, September 14 by 3:30 PM.

Due to the large volume of items that need to be purchased for this event, it is essential to have our families planning to attend return their form. RSVP forms will not be accepted after the end of the day tomorrow. We appreciate your assistance.

The breakfast is next Tuesday, September 19 (A-L) and Wednesday, September 20 (M-Z).

Our first skate night spirit night is Thursday, September 14th from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

This year Kaufman will have 3 different opportunities for classes to win parties for Box Tops submissions – including a First week of school grade level party!

Please send in    this week for the first week of school competition as well as the start of the 50% competition.

Box Tops are easy to collect. Just look for items that you buy with the Box Tops logo, cut them out, place them in a ziplock with your teachers name, send them in with your child, and the school gets the money.

Box Tops do expire, so turn them in monthly because expired Box Tops will not count for the class competition.

Thursday, May 11th is the last Kaufman Skate Night of the school year. It’s a Glow Night!

Next week is Children’s Book Week:

Monday – Books are the Gold at the End of the Rainbow! Everyone come to school dressed in a rainbow of colors.

Tuesday – Dreams Come True with Books! Everyone may come to school in pajamas (school appropriate) ready to snuggle up with a great book.

Wednesday – Hats OFF to GREAT BOOKS! Everyone wear their favorite hat to school.

Thursday – Cougars are on the Hunt for Great Books! Everyone may come to school dressed in camo or animal print.

Friday – Books build STRONG minds! Everyone may come to school in appropriate workout attire.

  Tomorrow, Wednesday May 3rd from 4-9 PM, Crust Pizza will be donating to Kaufman Teachers’ Relay For Life Team.

Box Tops 

Congratulations to Mrs. Bradford’s class and Mrs. Moss’ class for meeting the 50% mark.  Several classes are still close to the 50% mark.  Check with family and neighbors while you are on Spring Break to ask if they have Box Tops for Kaufman.  Keep sending in Box Tops, you can send them into your teacher any time during the month not just on collection days. When you are at school check out the Box Tops poster board in the cafeteria to see how your class is doing.
